  4.     Voice morse lessons are structured to teach Hand Written Morse
  5. Receive. Press F7 to begin the lesson, you will initiate a file selection
  6. box. Choose the lesson file you wish to attempt. The lessons are structured
  7. from 1 to 50, it is recommended that lessons be attempted in this order.
  8. Use the BOX SCORE SHEET for transcribing the Voice Morse Lessons.  Copies
  9. of the BOX SCORE SHEET can be printed from HELP. Select BOX SCORE SHEET and
  10. press ALT+P to print. At the completion of all 50 lessons you should be
  11. proficient at morse receive to 5 words per minute.

  14. Voice Morse Lesson Format - Introduction.
  15.        
  16.     Lessons  which introduce morse symbols include an introduction to
  17. those symbols before the lesson commences.  The introduction consists of
  18. the sounding of the morse symbol followed by the pronunciation of that
  19. letter.  At the completion of the introduction, the morse lesson will
  20. begin.

  22.     The introduction procedure:

  24.         1.  LISTEN TO THE MORSE SYMBOL
  25.  
  26.         2.  WAIT FOR THE PRONUNCIATION
  27.  
  28.           3.  PRACTICE WRITING THE MORSE SYMBOL

  31. Voice Morse Lesson Format.
  32.  
  33.         Normal lesson format involves sounding a morse character, followed
  34. by a period of time in which you must write the symbol.  Write each attempt
  35. at a symbol in the UPPER BOX of your score sheet.  You  MUST write the
  36. symbol BEFORE pronunciation occurs.  If you do not know  the  symbol, or
  37. the one you have written is wrong, write the correct symbol in the LOWER
  38. BOX of the double row.

  40.         Continue on, printing your first attempt in the UPPER BOX.  If you
  41. are correct, leave the LOWER BOX BLANK. If you are wrong or have left the
  42. UPPER BOX BLANK then print the correct character in the  LOWER BOX after
  43. its voice pronunciation. You  MUST attempt to write the morse symbol
  44. before pronunciation.  If you cannot, or if the character is wrong,  write
  45. the correct morse symbol in the LOWER BOX. To find your score at the end
  46. of the run count the characters in the LOWER BOXES and subtract this
  47. number from 100.

  51.         1.  LISTEN FOR THE MORSE SYMBOL

  53.         2.  PRINT THE SYMBOL IN THE UPPER BOX OF THE SCORE SHEET

  55.         3.  LISTEN FOR PRONUNCIATION

  57.         4.  IF THE SYMBOL IS CORRECT - LEAVE THE LOWER BOX BLANK

  59.         5.  IF WRONG - WRITE THE CORRECTION IN THE LOWER BOX

  62.     The lesson number attempted will be recorded to file.
